Born in Mthatha Eastern Cape, South Africa. Si Jones’s career began in 2012, at Rhodes University. Her undeniable passion for entertainment along with her eclectic and vibrant personality lead her into joining Rhodes Music radio (RMR), where she learnt the skills of being a DJ and On-Air radio presenting.
During her 3 year period at RMR, Si Jones has presented 3 radio shows and has been the content producer for 2 of those shows.
Si Jones has been featured and playlisted on various commercial radio stations such as, Metro fm, Ligwalagwala Fm, 947, Radio 2000 , UKHOZI fm, Tru fm, 947, YFM, Cliff central, Massive metro and many more. She has also been featured on international radio stations such as Drums Radio..
With over a decade representing house music as a DJ and broadcaster Si Jones has founded a dance music platform which houses a podcast and event called Si Sessions. Her versatility in the house music genre has allowed her the ability to perform on various stages across SA.
